Relaxation Audio Books To Aid Insomniacs
Do you find it hard to relax? Do you find it difficult to get to sleep at night? Have you ever attended any form of complementary therapy?
Have you ever listened to an audio book? Why all the questions Steve, you may be asking? Well I have just discovered the most amazing, with a little help from my complementary therapist that is.
For many months I have been struggling to sleep at night, my brain just will not relax enough to enable me to fall asleep. I have now cured this problem, with the help of a superb audio book and in this article I will explain all.
A colleague from work suggested that I should try some form of alternative therapy in an attempt to improve my life. I had discussed certain problems that I had in my life including the fact that I was becoming an insomniac.
He suggested that a treatment such as reflexology or aromatherapy may be of benefit to me. I was willing to try anything and therefore booked myself an Indian head massage.
To say that I loved the massage would be an understatement, it was amazing. The therapist was a lovely, well educated, lady called Diane.
We had a good chat after the treatment had been completed and I shared with her some of the issues that were troubling me.
Diane asked if I had ever listened to a relaxation audio book. I answered in the negative. She thought that it would be a good idea if I did, especially just before I went to bed, as it would help my brain and mind to shut down, take them to a happy place etc.
I asked Diane if she could recommend a particular audio book and about where I could buy one. She was more than helpful in showing me where to purchase the audio book and to my amazement it was available for free.
I have now been listening to this audio book for the last six months and I am now sleeping like a contented baby. |
